Lisa Christo

Lisa practices in tax, estate planning and commercial law. She is a member of the Law Society of SA, Tax Institute of Australia, Family Business Australia and AICD. Lisa has a passion for assisting clients get their legal affairs in order and she loves deciphering complex tax issues into plain English and taking the stress out of making succession planning decisions for individuals, SME and family businesses.

She has previously held numerous board positions, including with Crime Stoppers South Australia Incorporated, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an accredited family business advisor. Lisa also teaches tax law and directors duties for the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Adelaide in partnership with the Law Society of South Australia, and the Business Law elective for the MBA at the University of Adelaide.

Lisa has previously won the Australasian Law Awards ‘Rising Star’ Award and the Behind Closed Doors ‘NFP Emerging Leaders’ Scholarship, and has most recently been named in the 2026 Edition of Best Lawyers in Australia for Wealth Management and Succession Planning and Commercial law.
