The 12th edition of one of Australia’s most respected legal publications Best Lawyers was launched today with NDA Law scoring a coveted place for expertise in four areas including tax law, commercial law, wealth management and succession planning, as well as labour and employment law.

Best Lawyers Australia is a comprehensive directory of the nation’s best legal talent with the listings highlighting gold standard client service and professional expertise in what are some evolving and complex areas of legal practice.

Andrea Michaels, Managing Director of NDA Law, said she was thrilled to have made the Best Lawyers list for six years in a row.

“Tax, commercial law, and wealth management are very important areas of our practice. They make a huge difference to the performance of our clients because many are family-run businesses or SMEs. It’s pleasing to see clients really value our expertise and our unique solutions-driven approach enough to nominate us for this list.

“Employment law is our newest practice area, so we’re thrilled to have made the list here as well in such a short time. Our team really does punch above its weight when it comes to performance.”

“NDA Law has a different approach. We don’t care so much about timesheets or billable hours; we’re here to ensure our clients’ long term business success.”

Thea Birss also made the peer-reviewed list for her work heading up the new workplace practice.

Ms Birss said gaining a place in the directory showed boutique legal firms like NDA Law could compete on the national stage with larger practices as clients look for better service and a more value-driven approach to billing.

Best Lawyers Australia is significant because it’s our peers and clients who have nominated us. I’m thrilled to be recognised for my experience in employment law because it’s such an important area for business to have a handle on with the goalposts moving all the time with changes and new legislation.”

NDA Law has an expanding national client base.  The firm provides advice in areas including tax, corporate structuring, estate planning, succession planning and family business, IP, trademarks, corporate advisory and workplace law.
