Boutique law firm NDA Law has been recognised in an international listing of top legal firms after winning the title of ‘Leaders in Commercial Law’ for 2019.

The Awards recognise excellence in professional services, including legal practice, and are organised by APAC Magazine, a global publisher collecting market research from industry news, industry events and surveys from potential clients to track outstanding providers who are addressing current market challenges.

APAC uses a merit-based system to select international players who ‘set the pace for the year ahead’.

Managing Director of NDA Law Andrea Michaels said the firm had continued to grow since its establishment in 2015, with a strong demand for expertise in commercial law services, tax law, estate planning, and, more recently, workplace law.

“There is no doubt we operate in a very competitive marketplace, but we’ve built a reputation based on high-quality work and outstanding levels of service. We’re a firm prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the best outcomes for clients of all sizes.

“This award proves that independent, locally-based legal firms can compete with the best on a global scale. The NDA Law team are extremely proud to have been rewarded for our determination to do things differently, and to put our clients first.”

NDA Law has won several prominent national and international industry awards, including the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards for ‘Boutique Diversity Law Firm of the Year’, and APAC’s international award for ‘Most Influential Woman in Superannuation Law’.

The firm recently expanded to include employment law with the appointment of Thea Birss who manages mediation and dispute resolution, workplace contracts, unfair dismissals and performance management issues. Ms Birss also leads NDA Law’s new in-house workplace training program, delivering workshops to managers and business owners aimed at avoiding unnecessary legal disputes.
