NDA Law has once again been named as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards 2022 attracting both firm and individual awards.
Lisa Christo was nominated as Senior Associate of the Year, SME Law and NDA was selected in the category for Boutique Diversity Law Firm of the Year.
The Women in Law Awards was created to provide a platform for all successful women in the legal industry to highlight their accomplishments and be nationally recognised for their outstanding hard work while propelling the industry forward.
The awards are considered the gold standard for excellence, providing a unique opportunity for all women across the Australian legal industry — from rising stars through to those in senior ranks — to advance in their careers.
Lawyers Weekly editor Jerome Doraisamy said “Significant strides have been made towards parity in the legal profession. But there remains a way to go.”
Managing Director Joshua Michaels said he was proud of the culture that NDA Law has created and maintained. “Diversity, flexibility and work/life balance is what makes our firm attractive to female practitioners because they know they will be supported in progressing their careers in whatever manner suits them best.”
Mr Michaels said that Ms Christo was an example of an outstanding young lawyer whose dedication to the firm, and support from the team, resulted in client satisfaction, positive workplace culture and recognition of her achievements.
Ms Christo said she was honoured to be nominated in the national awards.
“It is truly a pleasure to have this kind of recognition on a national level for work that I love doing. This achievement is due to the support I receive from the entire team at NDA Law.”
The Women in Law Awards recognises outstanding contribution to the legal industry and reinforces the strength of our service and dedication to provide a quality and positive experience.
The award winners will be announced on the evening of 24 November at the Grand Hyatt, Melbourne.
