NDA Law cements its place as a leading SA law firm with 2017 award wins

NDA Law has won a raft of awards this month, including mentions in the prestigious national edition of Best Lawyers in Australia and inclusion in the legal industry’s top ranking list, Doyle’s Guide.

Managing Director Andrea Michaels and Senior Associate Paul Gordon were singled out in both publications, which recognise leaders in the profession, as nominated by both peers and clients.

Both Andrea Michaels and Paul Gordon were recognised by Best Lawyers Australia for their strengths in the competitive world of commercial law, while Andrea also received awards for tax law and wealth management/succession planning.

The 2017 Doyle’s Guide rankings, announced this week, strengthen the firm’s place as a South Australian leader in intellectual property and technology. The guide is considered to be Australia's definitive directory of the nation’s top lawyers, law firms and barristers.

Paul Gordon was listed by Doyle’s Guide as a recommended South Australian Intellectual Property (IP) lawyer, and was also highlighted for his expertise in the sectors of Technology, Media and Telecommunications. NDA Law was also listed in the top 11 IP law firms in South Australia.

Andrea Michaels said both the award wins recognise the hard work the boutique firm has put into client service provision and working collaboratively with SMEs in South Australia.

“Today’s global business environment is as challenging as it is complex for businesses of all sizes.” she said.

“We’re proud of the fact that we take a different approach legal services – six-minute billing blocks are not part of our approach, rather we’re motivated simply by helping our clients achieve their best.

“We’re really excited and proud to be recognised in the most prestigious legal awards in Australia. It shows smaller, specialised firms can compete with the bigger end of town in the provision of commercial, tax and technology law.

“We offer an innovative model to South Australian clients that provides high-end legal services with pricing structures and project management models that are far more flexible and agile compared to traditional firms.”

NDA Law includes an expanding national client base providing advice in areas including tax, corporate structuring, succession planning and family business, IP, trademarks, and social media advisory services.
